The most important thing you can do for your health is activated your body’s ability to heal. Stimulating your vagus nerve is the key to turning on your immune system and turning off stress and inflammation.

Different methods that will help you relieve and release stress from your body:

Breathing exercises

You breathe through your nose for about 4 seconds, hold the breath for 16 seconds, and breathe out with your mouth for 8 seconds. Doing this multiple times a day will give your cells energy and boost your energy levels. Doing this in stressful situations will calm your nerves and put you into the parasympathetic nervous system.

Eating healthy

I am doing a low-carb diet because I feel better concentration and cognitive abilities. I divide my plate into three parts, vegetables/salad, meat/fish and healthy fat. Eating healthy helps the blood sugar, stabilizing it, not making it run wildly. Also, avoid stimulants such as caffeine and nicotine and avoid alcohol. Also avoid “sweets”, chips and soda.

Himalaya Salt

First thing in the morning- Have a large glass of water with Himalayan salt. The amount could be half a teaspoon or up to a teaspoon if you can manage to drink that.

This morning’s salt and water flush help a natural jumpstart of all body systems. When you drink the salted water, you must lessen your adrenals’ burden, and you can, after a short while, you will notice your energy levels are higher for the rest of your day. The other important thing this morning saltwater technique does is thoroughly hydrate the body. This is so important and yet so overlooked by most people. You lose a significant amount of water through respiration and perspiration during sleep. So, when you wake up in the morning, you are almost guaranteed to be dehydrated.

Hydration first in the morning improves digestion, flushes out toxins, improves mental performance, and helps you have radiant and glowing skin. Linking water with Himalayan salt allows your body to hydrate more completely.

Foot massage

The best is to go to a pro; they call the topic; “foot zone therapy“.If you have a partner and want to save money, you can always ask your partner to do it for you. The different parts of the foot send signals throughout your body, and you will calm down and release some tension.

Listening to hypnosis

Glenn Harrold is my favourite hypnotist. He is a very skilled hypnotherapist and has self-confidence, relaxation, and overcomes anxiety. He uses a lot of post-hypnotic suggestions. If you experience a stressful situation, the advice from a previously listened hypnosis recording can kick in and make you react more beneficially.

Take a walk outside for at least 30 minutes every day.

Walking in the forest, I find relaxing. In the summer, you can walk barefoot on the grass or at the beach. You will gain a “foot zone therapy” effect because of all the triggers you will hit when walking. Walking daily is a way to start exercising.

Regular sleep rhythm

This one is significant. A good night’s sleep helps your body to restore. Without a good night’s sleep, you will feel way more stressed. A good routine is to get up at seven and go to bed at 11. Vitamin supplement

I am personally taking: Omega 3, C vitamins, multivitamins, and B vitamins in the morning, which calms your nervous system and Magnesium before bedtime. Taking a vitamin supplement boosts your immune system and to deal with stress better.

Try doing E.F.T. on topics that bother you.

Doing this sends a signal to the amygdala, and the rhythmic approach of this modality has a calming effect. You are also more aware of the topics you are working on because of the affirmations and addressing verbal cues. This method may be a little alternative for someone; I feel an effect on doing this.

Do T.R.E. on topics that bother you.

This is a popular method in the inner circles of diverse self-help communities. Doing exercises and shaking regularly releases a lot of stored stress, tension and trauma. A good tip is to do T.R.E. in the morning. Or to do it when you have free time, like at the weekend.

Write a grateful list.

Here you write down as many things as you can, also small things. Write down friends you are thankful for, forums, knowledge, family members, available vitamins, your house, car, and cool clothes to give some examples. Every little thing that you appreciate, you can write down. Write down 25 items or so. This exercise aims to train your brain to start recognizing everything positive in your life. Also, writing things down will signal your unconscious mind that this is important.

Surround yourself with positive people

Be with people who want to see you succeed and thrive! Avoid negative people who drain you. You can feel the difference after a meeting if you feel drained or energized. The same goes for being selective when choosing a partner.

Watch comedy and laugh.

Laughing helps the brain release endorphins. Laughter boosts the number of antibody-producing cells and enhances T-cell effectiveness, leading to a more robust immune system. Also, it is fun!

If you like this list, share it with friends and family members.
